Failsafe Brake (Electro Magnetic Disc Barke)are normally in the applied (braking) condition. When electric supply is given, the brake is released and the shaft free to rotate. In case of power failure or cut off, the brake is instantaneously applied thus preventing accidents.
Brake Motor is combination of three phase Squirrel Cage Induction Motor with Electro-Magnetic Disc Brake (A.C.) When power is switched off with ordinary motor, the rotating part will stopped after some time but if brake motor is used rotating mass will stop instantaneously. All Brakes are mounted at non-driving end of motor, braking disc is mounted directly on motor shaft. Brakes are directly acting, no lever or links are required. Liner plate is only wearing part and this is easily replaceable.

Brake shoe with lining is supplied for all type of EOT Crane Brakes and Industrial brakes such as Thruster brakes, Electromagnetic Shoe type brakes and Electromagnetic Drum brakes.
Brake shoe is generally supplied in Cast Iron body. On request, the same is supplied in Aluminium Die Cast
Brakes shoe with lining is supplied to suit as per drum diameter/models of brakes for Thruster brakes, Electromagnetic shoe type brakes, Drum brakes and Solenoid operated brakes used in Cranes and Hoists.Brake shoe shaft / Brake Pin is also supplied on request.

AC Solenoid Brake that are suitable for AC supply up to 400 to 440 volts, and are available for a wide range of drum sizes from 100 mm to 380mm Dia. We stand in the midst of prominent electromagnetic brakes suppliers based in India.
Since these brakes are in normally closed position, the release of the Brake shoes is affected by energizing the electro magnetic coil, which overcomes the spring force and the shoes are moved clear off the drum by lever/arm linkage system so that the drum is free to rotate without any friction.
When the power in given to the Electro Magnetic coil the coil gets energized and in turn pulls the plunger down. The plunger in turn operates the arm of the brakes and the brake opens. The design of the brake is such that as the lining keeps wearing out due to normal operation of the brake, adjusts itself on its own to achieve the rated toque. When specified, brake drum or drum coupling both pin bush type and flexible geared type can be supplied along with the brakes.
